Chennai Super Kings: Welcome back with a bang, the returning Chennai Super Kings have retained three Indian stars includes MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, and Ravindra Jadeja. This trio is the topmost seasoned and veteran players not only for CSK for the Indian cricket team. CSK has won IPL, more than one time and they already look like a team capable of challenging for the title.
Mumbai Indians: Mumbai Indians are the most successful IPL team in the IPL history when considered its brand value. They won the last season of IPL and they have already retained its team captain Rohit Sharma following Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah. MI took no chance and retained the maximum three players for this season. While Rohit Sharma is led to take the captaincy of the team and gave a headstart to the batting lineup, Jasprit and Hardik will make the team way to its victory, hopefully again this season.
Sunrisers Hyderabad: Orange Army had retained its MVP, David Warner, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. This duo could alone make waves of victories of matches in IPL 2019. David is a vice-captain of an Austrailian team, while Bhuvi is a bowler for Indian Cricket Team in T20 formats. Warner has been in tremendous form from the last two seasons for the SRH leading his team to win the 2016 season. Another couple of additions to the team would be a worth watching.
Delhi Daredevils: The daredevils of Delhi, this season they had retained the maximum three players this season. Chris Norris, Rishabh pant, and Shreyas Iyer. Delhi team had always given a chance to younger players and it has shown in this retention. While Morris can guide and hopefully lead the team with other players to the first victory trophy of DD.
Rajasthan Royals: Along with CSK, RR is also set to make its comeback this IPL season. Though it hasn’t retained its maximum limit, the owners had retained Steve Smith. He is one of the best in the world at what he does. He is a great captain and a great captain to build the team with furthermore players.
Kings XI Punjab: The team has retained only one player named Axar Patel. It looks like they will be looking to add new faces to the team after a disappointing run recently. They need to bid carefully in IPL Auction to overcome the massive overhaul and perform well.
